The community held a very successful Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13th on Brae Mar Court. There were well in excess of 120 people at the event along with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo as well as arts and crafts.
The social community is planning three other major events for 2019:
- Movie Night in the Park
The committee plans to hold a Movie Night in the Las Verdes Park adjacent to Paseo de las Verdes in early June. We will be showing a Disney movie with a very large screen and projector along with a popcorn machine. The movie will start right around dusk.
Homeowners should bring comfortable lawn chairs, blankets, food and beverages of their choice.
As the date and other details finalized flyers will be posted on mail boxes and signs hung at the entries to the community.
- Ice Cream Social
The committee plans to hold another Ice Cream Social in the July or August timeframe. This will be the fourth year of this event and we expect even greater attendance in 2019.
- Oktoberfest
The committee plans to hold another Oktoberfest in the fall. This event has proven to be the most highly anticipated and attended event held by the community. This will be the fourth year of this event which will again include great german food, beverages, the petting zoo and lots of fun activities for the kids.
