On June 26th, the arrival of new high-tech golf carts has caused quite a stir at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. We’re excited to have these new carts on property, just in time for our busy summer season,” said Blake Dodson, PGA Director of Golf. Golf Cart manufacturer Club Car delivered 85 carts with GPS and geo-fencing capabilities. The new carts have 8” screens that display the course, distances and flyovers at the beginning of each hole. Furthermore, Food and Beverage orders can be placed from the carts for the Ranch Grill.
What does all this extravagance mean for play at Encinitas Ranch? The Encinitas Ranch golf staff has the ability to monitor pace of play based on location of the carts. This translates into faster rounds. The golf shop can quickly identify slower groups and take immediate action before it affects the entire course.
