Last fall the Encinitas City Council amended their city code to establish three hour time limit parking along the entire length of Paseo de las Verdes. The community was recently informed that they have completed the implementation of this change by painting the curbs green (except those adjacent to intersections, crosswalks and fire hydrants) and installed signage that indicates that vehicles cannot park for longer than three hours on this street. The time limit will allow visitors to use the Las Verdes Park and to walk the trails.

This means no overnight parking.
Anyone who is currently parking overnight on Paseo de las Verdes will need to find parking in their garages, driveways or outside of the community.
Parking enforcement is conducted by Private Security at night on all private Encinitas Ranch streets which include all streets adjacent or close to Paseo de las Verdes such as Shasta Drive, Spyglass Court, Cypress Hills Drive and Heritage Lane. Parking enforcement for Paseo de las Verdes is going to be done through the city and the Sheriff’s Department.
Residents of Encinitas Ranch including owners and renters are expected to follow the Parking Rules that were established and enforced by the community. A link to the current Parking Rules is below:

Homeowners with renters are asked to ensure that their tenants follow this change.
