The community is often approached about providing help to resolve disputes between neighbors. Given the close proximity of homes in Encinitas Ranch it is incumbent on homeowners to develop relationships with their neighbors that allow them to develop desirable outcomes without having to resort to involving the HOA. The primary role of the HOA is to maintain the common areas and infrastructure and to ensure that we have strong financials.
As an example, the wood and wrought iron fences between neighbors will do doubt need to be repaired and/or replaced as time goes by. The adjoining neighbors should agree on their own to create jointly shared maintenance plans for the fences and to address other issues like tree or plant growth and roots spreading across properties. Cost sharing should be a key element of these plans. Everyone needs to be fair and act as good neighbors.
Should a situation arise where neighbors for whatever reason cannot reach a mutually acceptable outcome then they can explore the use of outside resources for help.
