BrightView Landscaping is part way through trimming all of the trees in the community. They maintain and trim over 1000 trees spread across the street parkways, large slopes and parks. All of these trees are assets of the Encinitas Ranch Community Association and our corporation and they are treated with great care and have regular health inspections.
There is a wide variety of species of trees found in the community and each of them have unique characteristics in terms of growth rates, whether they are deciduous and whether they produce berries or fruit. A unique maintenance plan is developed for each species of tree and that includes how the tree will be trimmed.
Our community is over twenty years old now and the trees are growing nicely. The budget for tree trimming has consequently grown over the years given the increasing height and width of the trees. ‘
Please do not attempt to trim any of the trees in the common areas. We are all shareholders in the corporation and need to leave the work of tree trimming to the expert arborists at BrightView. Trees cannot be trimmed to improve views and if such actions are taken, a member could face punitive actions. Please refer to Article 6.1.23 View Impairment in our CC&R’s if there are any questions regarding the trimming of any plants, shrubs or trees in common areas to help with improving views.
