The community continues to experience some minor issues with maintaining consistent water supplies from the local water district and water producer. As mentioned on numerous occasions we finished converting all of the water needed to irrigate our common areas to recycled water in 2018. One of the major benefits is having a long term sustainable source of water as well as significantly lower costs. This was the right decision then and would still be now.
The water producer, the San Elijo Joint Powers Authority (SEJPA) is encountering some problems with water pressure as they continue to expand their supply network. For the short term we are dealing with lower water pressures on occasion but there are long term plans in place to completely eliminate such problems.
Like many business our landscaping contractor is running into supply chain issues particularly with parts need to rebuild sprinkler heads and that is slowing down the efforts to rebuild the irrigation system.
In the meantime, we ask for your patience. Any areas of brown turf and plants that appear in need to water will be addressed.
