URGENT REMINDER – Wrought Iron Fence Repairs and Repainting Project

Posted on: August 11th, 2026

Pacific Western, the contractor hired by Encinitas Ranch to repair and repaint the perimeter wrought iron fences across the community is making really good progress. They are now working in the south mesa on Lynwood Drive and are encountering a number of homes where no action has been taken to remove any fencing materials or plants attached to the wrought iron fence.  The fence is owned and maintained by the HOA and approximately every five years the fences are repaired and repainted. This improves not only the aesthetics of the community but also promotes property value increases.

Anything attached to the fences will need to be removed so that the painters can gain access to the fence. This means removing all plants, wire mesh or other materials from the fence. This is not optional.

Everyone with perimeter fencing will receive a 7-day notice and a 48-hour notice before work will start on their section of fencing. On the day of the work behind your house, there will also be a courtesy knock on your front door from a Pacific Western team member to let you know that they will be working on the fence in your back yard. Please keep any animals inside your house during the repairs and painting.

Please note that if the painters encounter a fence that has not been cleared of any materials they will charge the owner a $550 return trip fee. So, to avoid incurring this fee please take the necessary steps. Furthermore, if anything continues to remain on the fence that will prevent painting the community will have our landscaping contractor, BrightView, remove the materials and the owner will be billed for the labor costs.
