This article is a reminder that Encinitas Ranch CC&Rs do not allow short-term rentals of rooms or houses including those associated with Airbnb or other similar online reservation sites. Short term rentals are rentals that are for less than a 30 day period. The City of Encinitas established their own short term rental ordinances. So, it is important for owners considering such arrangements that they are in compliance with our CC&R’s as well as city ordinances.

Short term rentals can bring additional noise, traffic and parking problems to our community.  Owners found violating this provision could be fined $250 per day and receive additional fines and penalties from the City of Encinitas.
