The community held a very successful Oktoberfest event on Saturday, October 19th from 3 to 6 PM. at the EUSD Farm Lab. There were well over 150 people who attended, exceeding our expectations. There was bratwurst, hot dogs, sauerkraut, potato salad, pretzels and cookies served along with a German pilsner beer. Music was also provided as well as the ‘Bubble Guy’ to provide entertainment to the kids and the Garden of Eden Petting Zoo. All of the kids had a great time at the Farm Lab exploring and playing in the extensive grounds.

The venue proved to be very practical and cost effective. The consensus was that the social committee will hold more events there in the future.
