Within the past few days all homeowners in Encinitas Ranch should have received ballots to elect three (3) members to the Board of Directors for the Encinitas Ranch Community Association at the annual membership meeting on Wednesday, November 20th at the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course starting at 5 PM.
Per state law, the Board of Directors has contracted with an independent vendor, The Ballot Box, to serve as the Inspector of Election for the purpose of preparation, receipt and tabulation of the ballots for this meeting. They have recently mailed out the ballots. In accordance with applicable California Civil Codes, voting is accomplished by secret written ballot. Three (3) Directors will be elected, each for a term of two (2) years. Each home has a total of three (3) votes, one (1) vote for each Director being elected at this meeting. Cumulative voting is permitted.
Please take time to review the board member candidate qualifications and send in your signed ballot to Ballot Box who included a self addressed mailing envelope with the ballot mailing. A sufficient number of ballots must be received in order to achieve a quorum and hold the annual meeting. There are exactly 500 homes in Encinitas Ranch so at least 125 valid ballots are needed from members (25%). This has been a challenge in some years so it is vitally important that you take time to vote.
The deadline for the receipt of mailed ballots is 12:00 PM (noon) on November 18, 2024. Ballots will also be accepted at the meeting location on November 20, 2024.
