The city council plans to hear recommendations for improving safety and traffic conditions on Quail Gardens Drive and Saxony Road on Wednesday, September 13th. The council meeting will be held starting at 6 PM at city hall at 505 Vulcan Avenue in downtown Encinitas.
If you are at all concerned about the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists and vehicles on this road corridor it is vitally important that you get involved now and attend the council meeting!
The council reacts positively to residents appearing in person and numbers make a big difference. You can either speak or submit a speaker’s slip endorsing the recommendations. Please fill in a pink speakers slip that can be found on several walls in the council chamber. You can either submit the slip and check that you want to speak or simply check that you do not want to speak but endorse the recommendations in which case you do not need to stay for the actual agenda item to be heard.
