There are two very exciting events taking place this weekend here in Encinitas. On Saturday, June 30 the 14th annual Switchfoot Bro-Am event takes place at Moonlight Beach starting at 7 AM with a surfing event with local surf pro, Rob Machado. The event ends around 6 PM with live music starting at Noon.

Also, on Sunday, July 1st the first of four summer concerts will be held at Moonlight Beach from 3 to 5 PM with the Fan Halen band. The events are sponsored by the City of Encinitas Parks and Recreation Department. Enjoy a great summer of entertainment at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Concerts are free to the public and go from 3-5 p.m. This four concert series held in July and August takes place right on Moonlight Beach on Sunday afternoons. Bring beach blankets and chairs, a picnic basket if you like, and get ready to dance. Each concert features a different musical style and some great music and dancing under the sun. Moonlight Beach, 400 B Street is Handicap Access, and is equipped with Picnic Tables, Restrooms, Concessions, Fire Rings, a Playground, Tennis and Volleyball.
