Another development approved by the city council in 2019 as part of the city’s housing element is a 202 housing unit development to be built on a five acre parcel of land across from Smart & Final on Encinitas Blvd. Ingress and egress to the development will be on Encinitas Blvd. but the proximity to the intersection with Quail Gardens Drive will have an impact on traffic.
The final hearing with the Planning Commission for the proposed Moonlight Apartments is planned for Thursday, June 15th from 6 to 8 PM at the Encinitas City Hall located at 505 South Vulcan Avenue in downtown Encinitas to learn more and voice any concerns.
