On Wednesday, February 14th, the Encinitas City Council will discuss the current status of the L-7 property on Quail Gardens Drive as a potential site for low income affordable housing. The undestanding is that the council will review plans for hiring a marketing communications company to hold community engagement meetings with local residents to discuss and solicit feedback on potential plans to develop this site. The agenda for this topic also includes discussion on hiring a firm to create some renderings and draft architectural drawings of what a housing development would look like on L-7.
