Recently a number of homeowners have contacted the property manager and security company regarding vehicles parked in front of their homes. No owner ‘owns’ the street in front of their home.
Also, homeowners posting notices on vehicles parked in front of a home only creates more tension and a negative atmosphere with neighbors. It is recommended that if there are continued instances of neighbors parking in front of someone else’s house that they have a friendly conversation to share concerns and resolve the matter. These types of situations are not for the security company or for the HOA to handle.
There are no rules regarding vehicles parked in front of a home except for those that are parked between the hours of 12 AM midnight and 5 AM for more than three (3) times in a thirty day period. In this case, Private Security will issue a parking citation per the formal Parking Policy adopted in September of 2016.
