Posted on: February 7th, 2025

If you are at all concerned over developments along Quail Gardens Drive and the impacts then show up in person or send an email to the city council members. Emails and attending in person does matter to the council.

The impacts include not only additional traffic for residents of the development but also traffic and parking for construction workers, impacts on safety, noise, wetlands, stormwater runoff, endangered species and on the ability to evacuate safely should there be some natural disaster. Now is your time to help make a difference in the outcome of this appeal.

Also, below is a letter that we recommend you send to the citiy council members. You can simply copy and paste this into an email. You should plan to send this by Tuesday, the 11th to ensure that the council receives this.

Subject: Appeal of the Quail Meadow Development

Dear Mayor and Council Members,

I am writing you to urge that the Encinitas City Council approve the appeal of the Quail Meadows development and deny the project in its current form. There are far too many impacts on the land, the surrounding neighborhoods, the environment and public safety to allow this project to proceed as it is presently planned. Please do what is right for the city of Encinitas and its residents.

Sincerely,

(add your name)
