The bulk of the work associated with resealing all of the streets in the community has been completed including repainting of nearly all of the STOP and limit lines. However, the community is not satisfied with the overall work product and there remains numerous areas that still need to be cleaned up. The board has made it very clear to the contractor that the work was not done to our satisfaction and that they are obligated to repair and clean up various areas. An extensive list of these areas has already been created.
Unfortunately, there were two very unexpected weather events that exacerbated the issues with project completion.
Remaining payments are being withheld until all areas identified as needing additional work are repaired and cleaned up. The board and Curtis Management is meeting with the contractor in the near future to finalize clean up plans. The contractor will be also held responsible to ensure that they provide clear communications to all homeowners in affected areas.
