The community has developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) to repair and repaint all of the perimeter wrought iron fences. The community is responsible to maintain and repair the concrete masonry units (CMU) block walls and wrought iron for the entire periphery of Encinitas Ranch.
Proposals are due on August 6th and it is expected that the board will award a contract at the August board meeting on the 20th. Recommendations on staging of the work are being solicited from the bidders. Some or all of the work could be done as early as this fall or it could be spread over the next six to nine months.
The costs for the project are covered through reserves. The fences were last repaired and repainted in 2014. Regular updates on the status of the project will be provided.
Homeowners will be responsible to ensure that they remove all materials from the fence including plants so that the painters have full access to the fences.
