Two appeals were heard by the city council at their regular council meeting on Wednesday, November 20th regarding the proposed Quail Meadows development on Quail Gardens Drive adjacent to the Sunshine Apartments development under construction.
As an outcome of the discussions the city council chose to continue the appeals until Wednesday, February 12th. It was apparent for those in attendance that the council felt that there were a number of very important issues uncovered that merit more attention and discussion. The primary issue is how the city determined that all housing element sites for the 2021 – 2029 cycle should be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
For those of you concerned over additional development along the Quail Gardens Drive corridor you should consider attending the city council meeting on February 12th.
