Last night the Encinitas Ranch Golf Course experienced some very unfortunate vandalism to one of their greens on hole #11. This hole runs behind portions of Cypress Hills Drive and Shasta Drive. The golf course has been having issues with neighborhood kids / teens jumping the fence and harassing their nighttime security guard. There has been enough problems recently like this that  caused the golf course to hire a security guard to watch the course at night but stopping vandals is very problematic.

Last night’s damage appears to have been done with the grip end of a left-handed #7 Callaway golf club (pictured below). The club appears to be brand new and there’s a strong chance someone might be missing this club from their set and the golf course would like to return the golf club to their owner.

Please help out by being mindful of people on the golf course outside of hours of regular operation. We need to do our part to keep the golf course in good condition. This is really unacceptable behavior and harms all of us.
