Landscaping Enhancements for 2018 and 2019

Posted on: September 10th, 2018

The community recently finished a complete overhaul of the large common area slopes in the south mesa on the east side of Rihely Place and Brae Mar Court. This was part of Year 3 into a long term comprehensive plan that focused on enhancing the entries to the communities, the parks and other highly visible common areas. We expect that the plants on these slopes will mature and grow in over the next year with very positive visual impacts.

In the fall of this year the other major slopes in the south mesa will be upgraded as well. This includes the slopes to the east of Jensen Court and Verbana Court and below Lynwood Drive. Completion is expected in mid to late October.

One of the other major priorities for the remainder of this year and early next year is enhancing the islands in the streets and the circles at the end of each cul de sac. Many of them need some significant upgrades. The circles have each been studied and prioritized in terms of need. The hope is to finish about half of those circles and islands this year. The remainder will be completed early in 2019. The parkway turf areas will also be a major focus area for 2019.

Attached is a map of the community showing the location of the major landscaping projects for this year including the four slopes in the south mesa as well as the location of all of the islands and circles.
