The Encinitas City Council is holding a special session dedicated solely to bike related safety and traffic calming for various roads in Encinitas including both Quail Gardens Drive and Saxony Road tomorrow night, Wednesday, January 10th at 6 PM at city hall.
The objective is to review and approve the detailed proposed plans for traffic calming. It is an impressive design for Quail Gardens Drive; adding bike buffers in numerous spots, two stop signs, a roundabout, great signage and road indicators. These proposed plans are the direct result of our collective efforts over two years in lobbying the city to help address our concerns over safety and quality of life.

We urge residents of Encinitas Ranch to attend and to voice their support for these improvements. They will have a very noticeable impact on our community in terms of safety and quality of life.
