Over the years some of the more active city residents have been able to attend city council meeting and either speak or listen to specific agenda topics without having to spend hours sitting in the council chambers.
The key is to first find the agenda for the city council meeting then determine the specific agenda item number and where that topics falls in terms of the overall agenda.
It is recommended to start watching the council meeting at home which is live streamed and estimate based on the pace of the meeting when you think your agenda item will be covered. Leave to go to city hall about 15 minutes prior to the estimate time for the agenda item to be heard. This approach will save you immeasurable time.
